Dice comes from a long line of Artists. His Grandfather and Father were Artists and Sign Painters, and he proudly displays pieces on the walls of the studio that were done by them.

Dice has worked with the likes of legendary Artists Boris Vallejo, and Olivia. He's also done album covers for Joey Belladonna, formerly of Anthrax fame, and local faves Under The Gun.

Whatever he's called, Artist or Tattooist, Dice can claim thousands of pieces of art he's done over the years, he's a body Piercer, he re-builds and paints cars and motorcycles, and has fabricated bodies for race cars and drag bikes. You can see his handiwork at the studio. Parked out front is his '91 Harley-Davidson, which he built himself, and is adorned with his artwork, including tribal designs, flaming Dice, and "The Funk Fairies"-those "cute little anime fairies" covered with tribal tats and piercings.

First and foremost, however, Skin Funk is a tattoo studio, and Dice can show customers thousands of designs he's done for customers over the years, from Tribal art, to pictures of Elvis, to sports logos.

He's also proficient at doing pieces on customers who keep coming back to have them expanded, and he's done a lot of work on people who want old tattoos covered or given a new look.

"I even tattooed eyebrows on a woman who didn't have any, " he said, and he's done work on customers who, because of some previous medical condition, wanted some type of camouflage work done.

Like other Artists in his profession, Dice has had to attend communicable-disease clinics, and he's followed the law that pertains to Tattoo Studios.

2nd Place at AMJAM for Best Female Backpiece-'99-'00,
His Airbrushed Graphics have been the feature of many articles from the Syracuse Post Standard 12/2005, to Miniworld a European magazine devoted to the minicooper.
