These piercings
should be cleaned several times a day with soap and water, removing any
build-up. Table salt is NOT an acceptible substitute for Sea Salt. Bactine may be used on non-mucous membrane piercings, unless you are allergic. If irritation occurs after the use of any cleansing solution, discontinue use and consult your physician and/or or piercer. Loose clothing should be worn for the first few days to avoid excess irratation. Avoid playing with the jewelry until the piercing is fully healed. |
Clean with soap several times a day, removing any build-up. Loose clothing should be worn for the first few days to avoid excess irratation. Bactine greatly helps speed up the healing process, and should be applied 4-5 times a day, unless you're allergic. Submerge the piercing in a cup of Sea Salt solution for five minutes, three times a day. For the ear, use a cotton swab or ball to soak the piercing. Avoid playing with the jewelry until the piercing is fully healed. Persons with long hair should keep it up and away from fresh piercings. |
Smoking is
a no-no! Again, Sea Salt solution is an all-around healer, and should be used liberally in and around the mouth. |
